🪐 Space
Ever wondered what's outside our planet's atmosphere? Well, space is a dark, black place, full of other planets and stars. It is filled with galaxies and nebulae, which we will learn about later. Ready to find out more about space with me?

What are galaxies and nebulae?
A galaxy is a swirling group of stars, dust, gas, and more. Our galaxy is called the Milky Way, and the nearest galaxy to ours is Andromeda. Nebulae are clouds of dust and gas. They are basically the same, except they're different shapes, and nebulae don't have any stars or planets.

My favourite planet!
My favourite planet: Earth
Earth is the planet where all of us live. It is the only planet that has ever been discovered which holds life (Us!). Earth is also one of the only planets in the universe to have liquid water on its surface.
Fun fact: Earth moves through space at over 100,000 km/h while it orbits the Sun!

Did you know?
To try and remember the order of the solar system, many people
use this short sentence:
My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles.
Scientists think that the Milky Way and Andromeda will clash in 4.5 billion years. Don't worry, that's still a really long time away!
Nebula
is the singular of Nebulae
